It was a spectacular site driving towards Illawarra through the fog and rain and seeing dedicated supporters lining the streets to cheer on the 755 trucks and 860 motorbikes that took part in i98FM’s Camp Quality Convoy for kids on Sunday.
The day was wet, cold and muddy but it didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of the people that made their way to the family fun day.
This year’s i98 Camp Quality Convoy has once again hit the 1 million dollar mark and broken a new record in the process.
Despite the rain, thousands turned out to take part in the event to help kids with cancer.
The total amount raised was $1,191,816.22 – the highest amount since the event began in 2005.
