Western Star Trucks to Showcase 5800FE and 6900 at Brisbane Truck Show

Western Star Trucks will display the 5800FE and 6900FXC at the BrisbaneTruck Show later this month.

Aerodynamically designed for productivity including down swept exhaust, the recently‐released 5800FE combines Western Star’s trademark toughness with streamlined efficiency.

The aerodynamically designed  5800FE  boasts outstanding driver visibility, a set‐back front axle that is ideal for b‐double applications, and Detroit power under the hood with DD15 .

In addition to the 5800FE, Western Star will also display the 6900 model. Hand‐crafted like all Western Star trucks, the 6900 is the toughest of the Star stable.

Available as a tri‐drive with a GCM of 250,000kg and powered by a Cummins X15, the 6900 is available up to 600 hp.

Visitors will find Western Star Trucks and MAN Truck & Bus at stand 50 (foyer).

DJR Team Penske’s Dick Johnson will be at the stand from 11.30am on Sunday May 19 for a meet and greet with show attendees.
