VISY expands Volvo fleet

Volvo

Volvo Trucks has delivered eight new Volvo FH16s to VISY Logistics, with the new vehicles set to replace the company’s existing Volvo fleet.

The sale of the trucks was managed by the CMV Truck & Bus Clayton team.

According to CMV, the units “feature sleeper cabs with a 600hp engine, King Bars bull-bar, Truckart Kool Kat bunk coolers, and Transport Maintenance Technology electrical. The tint was completed by TintFX, with paint by Royans/TFI Group and walkplates by SLS.”

VISY offers metropolitan and linehaul freight options for its customers, as well as 3PL logistics capabilities.

It has been undergoing a significant rebrand of its 3PL arm in recent months, and has been investing heavily in its intermodal, global forwarding and bulk haulage capabilities.

VISY Logistics was established in 2006 within its parent company VISY Industries.

The company has planned to expand its heavy vehicle fleet to 400 units by early 2025.
