According to Truckline General Manager, Mick Henderson, an increase in the number of resellers will complement the current branch network and provide even greater access for existing and new customers.

“At Truckline our aim to always be where the customer needs us. By expanding our reseller network and ensuring continued close partnerships we are strengthening our ability to deliver on this commitment,” said Mick, adding, “We already have 23 company owned stores in five states and a number of existing reseller partners. In directing efforts towards an expansion of the reseller network we can continue offering a large range of products at competitive prices, coupled with great service.”

One of the newest businesses to come on board as a Truckline-branded reseller is Sunraysia’s Total Equipment Solutions. Based in Irymple, just near Mildura, VIC, Total Equipment Solutions was established as a full mechanical workshop for heavy vehicles and farm machinery in 2016 by Leigh Fallon and Barry Savage. Leigh said they identified a gap in the market and approached Truckline for a solution.

“There wasn’t a huge range of parts in town, especially in the aftermarket category, with many people bringing parts from Melbourne, including us,” explained Leigh.

“Working with Truckline gives us better buying power so we can pass savings on to our workshop customers and provide a competitive retail offering,” said Leigh, who added that their store offers the same prices and deals as Truckline-owned stores nationally.

By providing businesses like Total Equipment Solutions the capacity to expand, Truckline is also providing valuable input into regional communities.

“We’re now in a position to provide more employment opportunities for locals, we’ve sourced as much equipment locally as possible – like our forklift and our computer system – and tried to help community organisations and sporting clubs with sponsorships,” said Leigh.

In addition to Irymple, Truckline now has resellers located in more than 20 locations Australia-wide. For Mick, it is the perfect example of partnering with businesses that share Truckline’s core values.

“Like Total Equipment Solutions, our resellers share our commitment to keeping customers moving. They all offer customers the same competitive pricing found in our company stores and can provide access to our catalogue of more than 77,000 parts and accessories,” he said.

“Truckline, our resellers and our customers are all part of the same industry and we know that for many operators margins are low and costs are high. As a business we need to be continually assessing how we can serve the industry and remain competitive, because it’s our customers who will benefit in the long run.”
