Jim Riordan, managing director of the Riordan Group, was named as the newest Kenworth Legend at Trucking Australia 2025 in Adelaide last week.

The Kenworth Legend Award honours individuals in the trucking industry who demonstrate strength, perseverance, and success. Jim earned this year’s title for his outstanding contribution to the industry over nearly 30 years.
He started the business in 1996 in Geelong with just one tipper truck, transporting grain and fertiliser to local customers. Seizing opportunities as they arose, he has since steered the company through an impressive period of growth and diversification.
Today, Riordan is a family-owned Australian agribusiness leader that offers a fully integrated suite of grain marketing, transport, storage, bulk commodity handling and packing services to both Australian and international clients.
Jim highlighting the performance of his fleet of Kenworths in his acceptance of the award.
