Nationwide operator Team Global Express has struck up a deal with Daimler Truck to the tune of 12 new Mercedes-Benz prime movers in a major asset upgrade.
The delivery of 12 new Actros trucks is one part of a 39-truck Daimler Truck deal that also features 27 Fuso models including medium-duty Fighters and heavy-duty Shoguns.

The new Actros models were recently delivered to TGE’s Melbourne Airport depot and will soon be put to work along the east coast of Australia.
Daimler Trucks Australia Pacific president and CEO Daniel Whitehead says the OEM is thrilled that TGE is taking on the massive order.
“Team Global Express is committed to operating the highest quality equipment with leading safety, low emissions and maximum reliability so they can deliver the highest quality service to their customers, so it makes perfect sense for them to select Daimler Truck vehicles,” he says.
“They are a great partner for Daimler Truck and we know they will be thrilled with both the Mercedes-Benz and Fuso trucks.”
Daimler Truck Australia Pacific vice president sales, marketing and operations Andrew Assimo says Team Global Express will be well served by its new Fuso and Mercedes-Benz trucks.
“Whether it has a three-diamond logo or a three-pointed star on the front, these trucks deliver incredible fuel efficiency and come standard with leading active safety features that will help Team Global Express reduce emissions and keep their drivers and the wider community safe,” he says.
