Sharman moves up for Cat

Glen Sharman has been promoted, by Navistar Auspac to the position of Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Australia, New Zealand and Pacific markets. He has been appointed to the new role following the move, by former Cat Managing Director, Kevin Dennis, to a role at, recent Penske acquisition, MTU Detroit Diesel.

Glen has been with Navistar since the launch of the Cat Trucks brand in 2010 and is the ideal appointment for this role,” said Tom Clevinger, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Operations, Navistar. “Glen is highly regarded throughout the Navistar and the Caterpillar dealer network for his passion and strategic thinking, and we are extremely fortunate to have an executive with Glen’s skills and commitment to drive the business forward in a professional and dedicated manner.

Until this appointment Sharman was Navistar Auspac’s Business and Brand Development Manager. He has been involved, from inception in the introduction of CatTrucks onto the Australian truck market.
