Scania will demonstrate a full hand at Bauma – world’s largest trade fair for the building industry

Scania is participating with a combined stand at Bauma 2013,  displaying an extensive range of Scania products and services, characterised by leading technology. Scania’s stand spans from a full range of nine Euro 6 engines, including the world premiere of Scania’s Euro 6 V8s on top, to robust construction trucks with intelligent driver support systems such as Scania Opticruise with performance modes.

Also examples of the latest improvements regarding styling and aerodynamics from Scania will be displayed. Scania is also showcasing a range of industrial engines compliant with the latest emission standards and sold increasingly to global OEM manufacturers. These units are also used for powering the Scania Genset that is on display for the first time in Europe.

Also on site (outside) is a mobile workshop unit, a solution for setting up operations in remote locations, such as mining sites. Scania is also joining forces with its customers to take their earning capacity to new levels. Complete solutions for service diagnostics and maintenance, tailored to each operator’s total needs, are being created beyond traditional boundaries. And the new Scania Remote diagnostics service provides major benefits for customer uptime.

If you are near the New Munich Trade Fair Centre between April 15 – 21 then make sure you head to Bauma, the world’s largest trade fair for the building industry. The trade fair, which was established over 50 years ago, presents a comprehensive international product range in the area of construction machinery, construction equipment and vehicles and mining machines. The Scania display will be located in hall B4, 102/202.
