SAF-HOLLAND consolidates extended product range following recent acquisitions | TRANSPORT NEWS

SAF-HOLLAND (Aust) Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s leading suppliers of truck and trailer products to the heavy transport industry, has consolidated its vastly expanded programme into its central head office warehouse facility in Melton.

Recent global acquisitions by the SAF-HOLLAND Group of V.Orlandi coupling and towing systems and York trailer axles and suspension systems, has resulted in the consolidation of these key brands into the SAF-HOLLAND Australian distribution centre, lifting customer service levels over the expanded range.

“With York and V.Orlandi, as well as SAF, Holland and Neway brand lines all available from the Melton warehouse we have one of the most comprehensive quality offerings available for the heavy transport market,” said Julian Harrison, SAF-HOLLAND (Aust) Marketing Specialist. “To provide for the highest levels of customer service we have introduced experienced personnel from both York and V.Orlandi into our head office team to ensure detailed brand product knowledge remains a key focus,” he said.

The York Group has built a strong service and spare parts business through Asia Pacific and supplies most of the major truck and trailer manufacturers in that region.

V.Orlandi offers a complete range of towing and coupling systems dedicated to the original equipment sectors in transport, agricultural, military and mining with load capacity from 3.5 tons to 500 tons.

Following the successful Brisbane Truck Show, with its expanded team and the attractive broad range of quality product offerings, the SAF-HOLLAND Group is well positioned to provide a high level of service to the light and heavy transport industry through a network of leading transport equipment specialist wholesalers nationwide.
