The new SACHS MAX range of heavy-duty shock absorbers from ZF Services Australia is aimed at off-road, four-wheel-drive and ute applications. Since launching the range at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo (AAAE) in Melbourne in April, sales of the big-bore shock absorbers have more than tripled year-to-date.
“The range has been strongly accepted across our three key customer segments, specifically four-wheel-drivers, trade workers and caravanners, and the plan is to continue to expand the range of available applications in sectors that are continuing to grow,” said Darren Leyshon, Head of IAM Oceania at ZF Services Australia said.
With fitments to suit the most popular 4×4 models on the Australian market, the SACHS MAX range has now grown by more than 25 per cent since its launch to now include 67 applications, with more to come.
SACHS MAX shock absorbers incorporate larger pistons and cylinders, with this increased bore size resulting in a reduction in heat and improved consistency under repeated loads. These features result in better durability and a more comfortable and safer ride.
