NatRoad has advised that the NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) will be holding heavy vehicle consultation days throughout September at a number of heavy vehicle checking station (HVCS) sites around the state.
Dates and locations are as follows:
• September 5, Kankool HVCS (New England Highway)
• September 7, Twelve Mile Creek HVCS (Pacific Highway)
• September 12, Mt White HVCS (F3 Freeway)
• September 25, Pine Creek HVCS (Pacific Highway)
The consultation days provide an opportunity for truck drivers and operators to discuss any issues or concerns they may have with key RMS staff including heavy vehicle inspectors while enjoying a BBQ lunch and refreshments.
NatRoad says it commends the RMS for its continued and demonstrated effort to consult with industry.
