Reporting the truck explosion

The reporting on the tragic truck explosion in Western Queensland is to be applauded. We have got used to hyperbole about an irresponsible trucking company after many crashes in recent times. In this case, there is a balanced view and no hint of the media attributing blame without reason, or of the road authorities talking about a crack down on trucking before the causes have been assessed. I hate to ask the question, but is it because it’s not in NSW?
