Penske to debut new Dennis Eagle waste truck

The newest solution in waste management is set to be unveiled next week by Penske Australia and New Zealand.

At Coffs Harbour next week, the people involved in the waste industry will be gathered for Waste 2025.

Among the exhibitors is Penske Australia and New Zealand which has unveiled a new Dennis Eagle Elite 6 model truck that’s been custom made to meet the modern waste management task.

Key to the new trucks is an uninterrupted, panoramic, view from the driver’s seat, making it easier than ever to spot obstacles, including pedestrians, interacting around the trucks.

Penske Australia’s head of fleet Shannon Mair says the business is looking forward to showcasing the trucks.

“The Waste Conference is always a fantastic opportunity to showcase the Dennis Eagle product to industry professionals who haven’t seen the vehicle up close,” Shannon says.

“The impressive visibility is often the first comment that people make.

“As recognised by Transport for London, Dennis Eagle is the only truck manufacturer to have its complete model range awarded a five-star direct vision standard rating.

“Furthermore, the suite of safety features, including a single-step entry, tall and wide door openings, well-positioned door handles, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability control, lane departure warning, and an advanced emergency braking system, means Dennis Eagle is the smart choice for operators.”

Powered by a Cummins B6.7 Euro 6 engine, the Elite 6 offers extended oil drain intervals, twice the length of its Euro 5 predecessor, and is the most fuel-efficient Dennis Eagle yet.
