Oh, the Calamity! Jayne Denham welcomes another trailer to the fleet

FOR country rocker Jayne Denham, gearing up for the launch of an album featuring some trucking songs is not complete without also launching a new promotional semi-trailer.

With three semi-trailers now in the fleet, Jayne will launch the Calamity trailer at CMC Rocks Queensland at Willowbank, Queensland on Friday, March 16, as she releases her album, Calamity.

Wickham Freight Lines have sponsored Jayne for seven years since she made the Trucker Chicks video clip, and have supplied the trailer once again. This is the third trailer Jayne has had on the road promoting her albums.

“I have been very lucky over the years to have partnered with a number of great companies to help my projects come about,” Jayne said.

“Scuzztrans Container Transport supported me with Grew Up ‘Round Trucks and Rockin’ with Ned, and more recently Lawrence Livestock for Stacks.

“Wickham Freight Lines have just been such an amazing support over all these years since Trucker Chicks, helping me promote everywhere I could and to have another JD trailer, The Calamity Trailer, has just been a huge blessing to help to get the world out on the street, quite literally.”

Jayne said it still felt ‘weird’ seeing herself on the trailers each time one passed her on their constant journeys up and down the east coast.

“My friend and I were driving in Queensland and all of a sudden she screamed out. ‘look! There you are in the wild!’. It’s been so much fun, too, over the years as fans send me photos all the time when they see a trailer. It does make people smile – especially the country music fans.”

The trailer will be on display close to the CMC Rocks Queensland site at Willowbank Raceway and you will often see Wickham Freight Lines park the trailers close to or at Jayne’s shows, to help promote her music.

Fans can take home their own Calamity trailers, with model replicas for sale at CMC Rocks Queensland and Jayne’s other performances, to launch the album. They are a hot item on the merch table and sell out quickly.

The trailer is also supported by the generous people at Power Torque Magazine, Fleet Imaging, Kix Country Radio and the Country Music Channel.

Jayne releases her new album, Calamity, on Friday, March 16 and launches it at CMC Rocks Queensland on Saturday with the party crowd at the White Rabbit Saloon.

Calamity is available for pre-order from iTunes now.
