South West Sydney saw the opening of a major new trailer service centre and sales facility this week. On Wednesday, MaxiTRANS held an Open Day at its new NSW dealership in the Sydney suburb of Smeaton Grange. Customers, suppliers and supporters all visited the newly opened 20,000 m2 facility.
“The addition of a wholly-owned MaxiTRANS dealership in Sydney furthers our ongoing investment into providing high levels of customer service through our industry-leading sales, parts, service and repair network,” said Michael Brockhoff, MaxiTRANS Managing Director.
The service workshop is over 2,500 m2 and has been equipped to complete all fibreglass, aluminium and steel repairs from minor servicing to full rollover repairs, as well as trailer pre-deliveries and tipper body fit-ups.
MaxiTRANS NSW Branch also offers sales of each of the company’s trailer and rigid body brands, as wellas used trailer sales and rentals.
“The capability of the new dealership adds value to our sales offices in the Riverina and Central Coast, while giving customers access to our products regardless of their location,” said Brockhoff.
On show, on the day were a number of new innovations from MaxiTRANS. On site were a number of the new VersaBOLT tippers, released to the market less than two weeks prior to the Open Day. Also on display was the Freighter AutoHold with Auto Mezz Decks as seen at the 2015 Brisbane Truck Show and one of Freighter’s EziLiners, which included inside it a sneak preview of the brand’s soon-to-be-released ‘spring assisted’ load restraint gates.
The new MaxiTRANS dealership is located at 5 Anzac Avenue, Smeaton Grange, in Sydney’s South West. It is just 4 km from the Hume Freeway, with via the freeway to Sydney CBD including both the port and the proposed Moorebank intermodal freight precinct, as well as north to the Central Coast and Brisbane.
