Cargotec Australia has reached an agreement to sell its Darwin and Adelaide load handling service businesses to RGM Maintenance.
The sale of the Darwin branch was effective August 1 while the new Adelaide operation will commence on September 1 this year.
Cargotec says the strategy behind this decision is to improve business efficiency and strengthen customer service to its load handling customers in both Darwin and Adelaide.

The Darwin branch will initially continue to operate at the current site at Yarrawonga but will in due course be integrated into RGM’s state-of-the-art facility at Winnellie. The Adelaide business will continue to operate at Cargotec’s current site in Wingfield.
Sales for load handling equipment will be retained by Cargotec Australia.
