NatRoad conference – one week to go!

NatRoad auctioneer Tony Hyman

One of the highlights of the NatRoad conference 2012 will be the MaxiTRANS and Thermo King co-sponsored auction dinner, taking place on Friday evening (August 3) at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove, Gold Coast.

There will be a fabulous array of goods on offer, not least a Freighter Outback drop deck semi-trailer and a Thermo King SB-330 refrigerated trailer unit.

For the first time in the event’s history, NatRoad will be taking telephone bids from prospective buyers. This means trucking operators not able to attend the event can still have the opportunity to bag themselves a great deal on either one of these market leading products.

Donated by MaxiTRANS and valued at over $100,000, the heavy-duty Freighter Outback drop deck semi-trailer is engineered for 100 percent off-road use. The bullet proof design is the result of years of refinement and working with customers to understand their tough operating conditions.

Donated by Thermo King, the SB-330 refrigerated trailer unit delivers excellent fuel efficiency, fewer carbon emissions, improved ease of use and more uptime.

All proceeds above the reserve prices of the trailer and refrigeration unit will go to NatRoad to help continue the important work the association does to effectively represent the interests of members and the broader trucking industry.

So if you can’t attend the NatRoad conference 2012 but are keen to bid on either or both of these outstanding products, call NatRoad on 02 6295 3000 and register.  Telephone bidders will receive a call from a NatRoad representative on auction night who’ll relay their bids to the auctioneer, Tony Hyman.

NatRoad would like to thank MaxiTRANS and Thermo King for their continued and generous support.
