Traditionally, when choosing a lifting solution for a workshop there was a choice of two systems. A set of mobile column lifts or a fixed ramp lifting solution, a fixed four post. According to Ausquip, this is no longer the case with the arrival of the Wireless Maxima Mobile Ramp System.
It has been said the new concept has changed the ball game, offering, not only the wireless flexibility of battery electric mobile column lifts, but also a ramp system that fits straight onto the columns. This enables the technician to be able to efficiently perform service work on the ramps.
This is combined with the versatility of being able to take the columns away and use them to lift up a longer term repair in another part of the workshop. With no wires or cables the ramp system can be set up anywhere quickly with none of the additional installation costs associated with traditional fixed ramp systems.
The mobile set-up is a portable ramp systems designed for use with wireless or cabled mobile column lifts and comes with 16 to 48 tonne capacities and with ramp lengths from 6 to 27 metres long. Optional drive-on and drive-off ramps suitable for low floor buses and rolling jacking beams are also available.
