Linfox makes significant investment in UD Trucks fleet | TRANSPORT NEWS

Linfox Logistics Australia and New Zealand has invested in a fleet of more than 90 UD Trucks Quon CD 25 360 vehicles for its bespoke beverage logistics brand, BevChain.

The fleet investment demonstrates Linfox’s long-term commitment to operating the newest, safest and most environmentally friendly fleet on the road.

The Quon features a host of advanced safety features including the Traffic Eye Brake System, electronic braking systems, UD Stability Control, and Lane Departure Warning as well pPNLT exhaust emissions standard, which is comparable to Euro 6.

Linfox’s own FoxTrax safety technology will also be installed, which features a driver pre-trip inspection including fitness for duty, safe load constraint and vehicle condition checklists as well as electronic driver fatigue management.

Chairman of UD Trucks, Joachim Rosenberg said: “Our relationship with Linfox spans many countries throughout Oceania and Asia and we are very proud to celebrate such an important partnership for UD Trucks in Australia.”

President and CEO Volvo Group Australia Martin Merrick was also on hand to champion the strong relationship that Volvo Group Australia has developed with Linfox over the past three decades.
