RoadVision’s new high performance LEDrive driving lights feature LEDs (light emitting diodes) rather than regular halogen or HID (high intensity discharge) xenon globes. The product is available in 100 mm round (nine LEDs) or 170 mm rectangular (12 LEDs) styles.
With multi-volt (9-32 volt) operation, impact resistant polycarbonate lenses and rugged diecast aluminium housings, LEDrive lights feature a 100,000 hour LED life span and are water and dustproof for maintenance free operation.
The units are said to produce a whopping 1300 lumens of white light output whilst drawing only 2.1 amps of power. This is claimed to be equivalent to a 100 watt halogen lamp which draws 7.4 amps.
Suitable for upright or pendant mounting, LEDrive lights don’t require external driver boxes or relays and feature simple two-wire connection into the vehicle’s wiring harness. In addition, the LEDrive170 (rectangular version) can be linked together horizontally or vertically to make light bars or towers.
