Communications manufacturer GME is launching a pair of new radios for use in trucks, offering an extensive number of features across both models.
The TX4500WS2 offers all the market-leading features and benefits of the venerable TX4500S UHF CB Radio, with the added convenience of a steering wheel mounted wireless PTT button.
The TX4500S is a DIN-sized UHF CB radio, ideal for installations in vehicles with a standard DIN mounting slot. Supplied with a DIN mounting kit, the TX4500’s compact-depth design allows for seamless installation in confined spaces.
Featuring a rugged die-cast metal chassis and robust professional-grade microphone with magnetic mounting bracket, the TX4500S is the radio of choice for heavy vehicle operators, agricultural machinery and plant equipment.
Combining a front-facing speaker and large LCD screen with rotary volume, channel and squelch controls ensures ease of operation and inherent safety for serious users in demanding commercial environments.
Their other offering, the XRS-BT1 is an interface module providing full Bluetooth audio connectivity and wireless PTT (Push-to-Talk) functionality to the full range of XRS Connect UHF CB Radios.
Bluetooth audio connectivity allows the XRS-BT1 to wirelessly connect to an extensive range of third-party audio accessories including headphones, hearing aids, and vehicle stereo systems, providing users with new and improved ways to stay connected.
Included in the kit is an adjustable steering wheel clamp which provides a simple mounting solution for the IP67 wireless PTT button and a wired hands-free microphone with a 1.8 metre cable for easy mounting options.
The PTT clamp design provides access to the battery without the need to remove from the steering wheel, plus, the PTT can also be removed from the clamp and mounted to an alternative location using the dash mount kit supplied.
