Isuzu open 15,000 square metre warehouse facility in Brisbane

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has opened a new isuzu-opens-new-brisbane-parts-facility-jqtozohm (1) isuzu-opens-new-brisbane-parts-facility-jzdvxzje to better serve the parts requirements of Isuzu customers in northern Australia and beyond.

The new facility provides customers with faster and more efficient parts availability and has become the Oceania Parts Hub, servicing the South Pacific region including the rapidly expanding Papua New Guinea market.

Complementing the existing Melbourne facility – the new Brisbane operation provides faster, more efficient parts delivery to both Isuzu dealers and customers and also houses the offices of IAL’s Queensland based regional zone managers. A large training facility and other amenities are also part of the complex.

IAL Director – IT, Engine & Parts Operations, Peter Rutkis, said the new facility was already yielding benefits.

“Parts delivery times have been cut substantially since the facility has opened,” Mr Rutkis said.

“Brisbane Airport offers a daily air service to Papua New Guinea and is ideally situated to service other locations in the South Pacific so it made sound business sense to develop a site in Brisbane.

“We are meeting the high parts demand in Queensland and the South Pacific with ease.

“We will continue to further enhance our parts delivery processes and look forward to meeting our customers’ parts needs well into the future with this new facility.”
