This video showcases Isuzu’s new S&E Series, which it announced has entered production for international markets earlier this year.
Production has begun at the UD Trucks plant in Thailand, with the view to distribute and supply across ASEAN, the Middle East, and Latin American markets.
It features a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 25 to 41 tons and a gross combination weight (GCW) of 36 to 80 tons2, and is available in rigid and tractor unit variations.
What makes this particularly interesting is that it is one of the first adapted UD Trucks models badged as an Isuzu, being adapted from its Euro 5 compliant Quon model.
Isuzu says it is part of a business plan to develop a common truck platform using Volvo Group technology by 2029.
