Isuzu Introduces 2025 Range

Isuzu

Isuzu Australia is launching an all-new model line-up for 2025, which includes an increased focus on safety across the board.

It announced the move in Melbourne this week, with plans across the next calendar year for test drives still to be laid out. It will be the first model launch for the company in Australia in 17 years.

This focus on safety was built on the back of two different needs – Isuzu’s own approach to what it labels as active safety, passive safety and foundational safety, as well as what will need to be included in trucks going forward in the latest suite of changes to the Australian Design Rules.

There are mandates coming for electronic stability control (ESC) and autonomous emergency braking (AEB) as of February 1, 2025, and Euro 6 emissions standards for heavy vehicles from November 1. Isuzu is looking to how it can bring the most suitable safety offerings outside of what is just being mandated.

All models in the ‘MY25’ N Series range will feature seven new safety features alongside the eight systems that are currently available in the Advanced Driver Assistance System.

Isuzu is adding Full Speed Adaptive Cruise Control on all two-pedal models, Miss Acceleration Mitigation on selected models and Bi-LED headlamps with integrated Daytime Running Lamps.

The new N Series also receives Traffic Sign Recognition using stereo camera technology and combines this with an Intelligent Speed Limiter function to assist the driver to stay within posted limits.

The F Series now has 17 active and passive safety features, including F-ACC in every model except 4×4 and manual transmission FRR and FSR models.

The FX-FY Series has notably added Lane Keep Assist alongside the ADR regulated ESC.

Following its second-highest ever October for truck sales, Isuzu says it is hoping for a ‘flawless’ launch of the MY25 range of trucks across 2025.
