Isuzu Australia has reinforced its off-highway engine division.

Benjamin Binns has been appointed Engineering Manager for Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS).

The move, according to Isuzu, to responds to growing demand for advanced technical services and application support across Australia’s industrial and off-highway markets.

Binns, previously IPS Product Manager, brings more than two decades of hands-on engineering experience spanning automotive and industrial power applications.

His appointment forms part of a broader realignment of Isuzu’s product and engineering teams, ensuring IPS continues to deliver not just best-in-class diesel engines, but complete power solutions tailored to complex Australian conditions.

“Benjamin’s experience makes him uniquely positioned to lead our engineering efforts and strengthen our support for customers across sectors like agriculture, marine, construction and energy,” said Isuzu Chief of Product, Matt Sakhaie.

Working alongside Head of Engineering Services, Nicholas Soitaridis, Binns will oversee product development, customer integrations and continuous improvement across IPS’ industrial engines, power units and generator sets.

In other news, Isuzu Trucks is ensuring its dealers’ aftersales staff provide optimal customer advice.
