Zero emissions truck and technology manufacturer Foton has officially opened the order book for its new range of diesel engine light-duty trucks, the 2025 Aumark S.
Foton says its R&D team has tested the new model over 1.6 million kilometres across a range of conditions in order to reflect the needs of the Australian market. It has performed well both in regional and urban settings.
Starting at a GVM of 4.5 tonnes and available in 6, 7.5 and 8.5 tonne options, the smaller models can be utilised in city settings and tighter commercial spaces.
The Aumark S includes a suite of safety features encompassing:
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
- Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR)
- Hill Start Assist (HSA)
- Electronic Brakeforce System (EBS)
- Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Cardan Shaft Airbrake
The Aumark S 5D15 and 6D15 are available as both cab chassis and tipper models, with a 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT transmission and the Cummins F2.5EVIE150 diesel engine under the hood.
At the higher end of the range, the 8D15 and 9D15 include 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT and the Cummins F3.8EVIE156 engine.
