Followmont entered its partnership with the Australian Football League club in May of last year, and is now solidifying its support for both the men’s and women’s teams.
The transporter launched that truck collaboration at The Gabba with Brisbane Lions CEO, Greg Swann, co-captain, Lachie Neale, and players Dayne Zorko and Cameron Rayner, where it proudly handed the keys of its latest Fuso truck over to the Brisbane Lions Academy – marking the beginning of an impactful relationship.
“We’re proud to launch a new UD Quon into the Followmont fleet, featuring none other than the Brisbane Lions AFLW team,” the post says.
“As the Lions prepare to launch into training for the 2025 season, we’re rolling out our support in true Followmont style — bold, proud, and on the move.
“This truck is more than just a stylish ride. It’s a statement of support for women in both sport and transport, industries where passion, commitment, and grit drive success.
“Here’s to the players, women in transport, and everyone pushing boundaries. The road ahead is wide open.”
The Lions are one of the most successful teams in the short history of the AFL Women’s competitions, having played in six Grand Finals, winning two.
