There is a chance to reward unsung people in the industry who doing the right thing. NatRoad are asking people in the trucking industry to nominate a fellow truckie for a couple of NatRoad Awards.

There are very few chances for anyone in the industry to get recognised for the kind of dedication and work ethic required go above and beyond in their chosen line of work, so get nominating.

The annual NatRoad Awards are sponsored by NTI and there are two award set to be presented at the NatRoad National Conference Gala Dinner to recognise those in the industry who are making a difference. 

The NatRoad National Conference 2021 will be taking place on the Gold Coast August 19 to 21 and will be one of the few large scale industry networking events of the year. Specific topic related conference sessions will include owner drivers, dangerous good, regulation and compliance, heavy recovery vehicles, safety and training, and road trains and high productivity vehicles.

Professional Driver Award

The first award recognises the achievements of a driver and acknowledges the professionalism with which they carry out their work, in particular an exemplary safety performance, commitment to excellence, customer service and who has worked to promote the industry as a whole.

Youth Employee Award

The second award recognises an inspirational young professional (30 years and under) working in any part of the road transport industry. If a young team member has performed beyond your expectations, made a contribution to your business or brought a new way of thinking, nominate them today.

What do the finalists receive?

The finalists in each category will receive:

  • Return economy airfares from their closest airport to Brisbane to attend the awards presentation at the Gala Dinner
  • One nights’ accommodation at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort

What do the winners receive?

  • Each winner will receive $500 worth of Eftpos gift vouchers
