Diesel and Dirt Expo

The 2017 National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo at Panthers Penrith in Western Sydney is a free earthmoving equipment shower all ages that runs from Friday, 21st April through to Sunday, 23rd April.

Last year more than 30,000 people viewed the display of  dumpers, diggers, loaders, excavators, skid-steers, mixers, borers, trucks, saws, buckets, grabs, drills, hammers, hoses, blasting, backhoe loaders, diesel engines, GPS, rollers, lifters, rippers, dozers, trenchers, hydraulics and more.  Landscaping and agricultural gear includes slashers, mowers, trailers, and tractors.

On hand will also be specialists in equipment maintenance, finance, insurance and other support services.

Entry is free to everyone. There’s loads of parking, plenty of entertainment for kids of all ages, imaginative and tempting food stalls, plus a licensed bar.

Equipment operators can enter the “Operators Challenge” with the chance to earn up to $21,000 in prize money for anyone who wants to demonstrate their skill and take home a trophy earned as Australia’s top operator.

Qualified operators of excavators and compact loaders will again be able to demonstrate their skills. Daily heats will culminate in a final challenge for the trophy and bragging rights as “Australia’s top operator”.

As well as the high-value door prizes of a Toro stump grinder and Toro ride-on lawnmower, Norm Engineering is giving away fifty fuel vouchers of $50 throughout the show. Other exhibitors are running competitions and giveaways for equipment such as trailers and more.

Music entertainment is by ‘Ebony & Ivory’ and there are all children’s rides, face painting, an interactive display of “Little Big Rigs” as well as a huge display of vintage trucks.
