The Australian Trucking Association and Daimler Truck are continuing their partnership with the Future Leaders program, opening nominations for 2025’s Forum.
It offers participants the chance to get a closer look at the industry and expand their skills in leadership.
“Like many Australian industries, the trucking industry is facing disruption and innovation as technology changes the way we do business, work and live,” says ATA Chair Mark Parry.
“Together with Daimler Truck, we are looking for the next generation of leaders.”
Part one of the FLF will be held in Canberra in February 2025, where participants will take part in intensive workshops and collaborate to develop industry advocacy projects that will be presented at the ATA’s Trucking Australia 2025 conference from 28-31 April 2025.
Participants will also be mentored by experts in leadership, media and political advocacy during the forum, developing their potential as future leaders of the industry and the ATA’s network of member associations.
“The FLF has helped nurture some wonderfully talented young people in the road freight industry since its inception in 2018,” President & CEO at Daimler Truck Australia Pacific, Daniel Whitehead said.
“Daimler Truck is excited to continue backing this fantastic initiative that helps provide a clearer pathway for future leaders of this vital industry.”
Nominations can be made via the ATA’s member associations or TruckSafe, and can be accessed through the 2025 nomination pack.
