In order to further enhance its already comprehensive employee training program, Kenworth and DAF dealer Brown and Hurley Group recently opened a purpose built training facility next to its dealership at Yatala in Queensland.
The training facility houses a range of engine brands such as Paccar MX, Cat and Cummins (including the latest EGR Cummins Signature) as well as Eaton manual and automated transmissions, rear axles (including heavy-duty SISU units), air systems, steering, electrical diagnostics and DAF componentry.
The investment is a further commitment by Brown and Hurley to a long term philosophy of putting profits back into the business with the aim of offering its customers a higher level of service.
The company currently has 57 apprentices and has so far this year trained over 300 technicians. With the new purpose designed training facility, Brown and Hurley plans to ramp up the number of training courses it will offer in 2013.
