It’s all systems go for Freightliner Trucks and Alliance Truck Parts as these two giants of the transport industry support local driver Tim Slade and the Brad Jones Race Team for the next two years.

According to Tim Slade the Freightliner Racing Commodore will be pretty bold on track this year.

“We did a one-off black and yellow livery for Alliance Truck Parts at Townsville in ‘16, and Nick was in similar colours for Freightliner at Winton last year. The 2018 design is simple, and with the bright Alliance Truck Parts yellow being front and centre, you won’t mistake us for anyone else,” said Tim.

“With a new shape and new engine package for 2018, we’re ready to move forward and want to hit the ground running in Adelaide. As always, the boys have done a ripper job on the new car build so I’m excited to get into the season ahead.”

Director of Aftersales, Daimler Truck and Bus Australia, Greg Lovrich added “We are very excited to see the 2018 Freightliner Alliance Truck Parts car in the metal and can’t wait for it to hit the track. It looks fantastic, and we know that it will also be extremely competitive with Tim behind the wheel,” he said.

Tim Slade and the Freightliner Racing Commodore will be on track this Friday for the Supercars first official test day at Sydney Motorsport Park.
