Australia Post is set to double its Adelaide Airport capacity (up to 400,000 parcels per day) with its biggest investment in South Australia.
The national courier is developing a $500 million, 83,000-square-metre facility which is expected to open in 2028 at the former Holden location in Elizabeth.
It full be the first fully integrated Australia Post and StarTrack operation and the largest in the network.

Australia Post CEO, Paul Graham, said the facility will streamline operations, meet soaring e-commerce demand and serve as the blueprint for future network upgrades.
In related news, Australia Post is about to deploy 500 new Rapide 3 electric delivery vehicles.
