A new MAN for DJR Team Penske

DJR Team Penske has taken delivery of a new MAN D38 TGX to haul its race transporters for the 2017 Supercars season.

Powered by a 15.2litre, six-cylinder inline engine with 560hp and 2700Nm of torque available from a low 930rpm, the D38 is ideal for its new task of hauling the B-double configurations making it an ideal fit for DJR Team Penske.

“In Australia, as in Supercars, customers demand productivity and efficiency and that’s what the D38 delivers,” said Mark Mello, General Manager – Truck Sales with MAN.

The delivery of the D38 extends DJR Team Penske’s association with the MAN Truck & Bus brand, having previously been featured on the racecar liveries.

The MAN TGX D38 is now available through Penske Commercial Vehicles, and its authorised dealer network. Full customisation is available.
