Here’s one for the older folks in the audience, who remember the good old days – this throwback to the 1980s, in the form of a documentary.
While this is only the first part of the documentary, it focuses on the application of road trains in Australian transport, presumably for a European audience to whom the concept may seem particularly foreign.
It even features Ross Vaughan, who you may know as the long-time managing director of Vaughan Transport, driving his Volvo F12 road train from Perth to Darwin.
Some of our readers may even remember the documentary, created by film crew from Volvo Sweden, which would ultimately win awards in Sweden and Germany.
