When it comes to the American trailer industry it’s

 immediately obvious that one of the prime

 considerations facing the trailer builder is to keep tare

 weights as low as possible.  Aluminium rules the day for

 many line haul operations but some of the technological

 inclusions relate more to durability in poor weather

 conditions than we would experience in Australia.

    MAC Trailer is based in Alliance , Ohio and specialises

 in end-dump semi-tippers and rigid trailers, flat tops and walking floor trailers.  For severe duty work there are also MAC semi-tippers manufactured in Hardox steel and a more recent addition includes pressure vessels for bulk powder transport.

The company was founded in 1993 by Michael A. Conny (hence the MAC brandname),  and it’s one of those genuine good time stories.
