The Power of One
It’s the largest truck show in America and for those attending the atmosphere was far more upbeat than many would have expected. Manufacturers were becoming more bullish by the hour as they found the truck operators kept on arriving, keen to find out about the latest technology and to be plied with temptation as to why SCR is the obvious choice for all but one engine manufacturer. The overwhelming impression of the show is of course provided by the linehaul prime movers with their extended length sleepers and high level of interior trims that leave many Australian trucks looking like poverty pack models. The major truck makers have also realised that a higher level of trim options will appeal to a select band of buyers
